How to Vote

Follow the instructions below for the different methods of voting for in polls for SEVENTEEN. These instructions can be used for TMA First Round, Birthday Voting, Theme Voting, Weekly Music and similar polls

  1. Tap on the Vote tab. From here you can select the type of voting: TMA, Birthday, Theme, Weekly Music

  2. Find SEVENTEEN or a SEVENTEEN member in the nominated list

  3. You can tap on Vote to vote with Yellow Stars or Rainbow Stars, or you can tap on Video Vote/Video Pass to vote with ads.

Method 01: Video Ads or Video Pass

Tap on the Play button. Watch an ad for a direct vote (50 votes).
If you have a Fanbership, tap on Pass for instant 50 votes. You can do this 40 times per day.

  • You can watch 40 ads per day with a 10 minute interval between each one

  • 40 ads x 50 votes = 2000 votes/day

  • Video ads normally runs for 5-30 seconds each

Method 02: Vote with Yellow Stars or Rainbow Stars

Tap on the Vote button and enter the amount of Yellow Stars you want to use. Tap on Vote when you're done.
If you vote with Rainbow Stars, your votes multiply by 5.

  • Vote at least 200 yellow stars daily to earn 4G+ Points

  • Vote limits vary per poll. Check the fine print below.

Collecting Stars

There are several methods for collecting Yellow Stars and Rainbow Stars on Fan N Star. You can do all of below or only choose what works best for you.

Attendance

5 Stars & 1G+ Point

  1. Tap on the Points Tab

  2. Click on Daily Attendance, then click Check In

View Articles

Up to 360 Stars & 2G+ Points

  1. In the Points tab, tap on View News

  2. Tap on the first article in the list

  3. In the article, scroll down and tap on the Get ⭐️ button

  4. Tap on the Next button to go to the next article

  5. Repeat steps 3-4 until done

  • You can view articles in different languages: Korean, Japanese, Chinese, English

  • You get 2G+ points for reading at least 10 articles

  • For each language, you can view and collect with 30 articles

  • 4 languages x 30 articles x 3 stars = 360 stars

Roulette Event

  1. Tap on the Points tab and tap on the What luck awaits today? button

  2. Tap Go in the wheel and you can receive stars, G+ points, or Rainbow Stars

  • The number of free spins you get depends on your rank: Green (1), Bronze (2), Silver(3), Gold(4), and Black(5)

  • DO NOT use stars to spin again. It is better to save it instead.

Time Event

Up to 200 Stars & 2G+ Points

  1. Tap on the Points tab and tap on Today's TIME Stars. This button is active when there is an ongoing Time Event.

  2. Tap on the Watch Ad button to watch an ad and receive 50 Stars.

  3. If you have a Fanbership, you have an exclusive Time Event that gives you 50 Stars or 100 Stars, depending on your membership.

  • Time Event is open for 1 hour only

  • 2 Time Events per day for each language. You must complete 2 Time Events to get 2G+ Points.

  • English: 9:30AM & 10:50PM KST

  • Korean/Japanese: 12:45PM & 6:30PM KST

  • Chinese: 1:40PM & 7:30PM KST

  • Fanbership: 3PM to 6PM KST daily

Today's Star Mission

Up to 50 Yellow StarsComplete 4 tasks to get Yellow Stars corresponding to your level

  1. Check-in Daily Attendance

  2. View 30 News Articles

  3. Write a Post (Star/Theme/Open Forum)

  4. View 10 Home Feed Articles

  • If you do this daily, you get bonus Stars if you gain a streak every 7 days (50, 100, 150, 200 Stars) ("Star Reward" on Home Feed)

  • This is easier to achieve if you have a Fanbership since the 30 Articles will be read already.

Sponsor Mission (Korean Only)

70 Yellow Stars & 6 G+ Points

  1. Change language to Korean

  2. Tap on the Points tab

  3. Tap on the View Ad 1 button. You can tap the ad space for 20 Stars 2x (total of 40 Stars)

  4. Go back to the Points tab and tap on the View Ad 2 button. You can click several buttons here for Stars and G+ Points. Total of 30 Stars, 6 G+ Points

  • Your language must be set to Korean to see the View Ad buttons

  • You can do these tasks daily

55 Yellow StarsEvery star icon you see on in-app ads will give you 5 Stars each. You can click on each one 2x to earn a total of 10 Stars per ad. See the list below for all the locations of these ads:

  5. Star/Theme/Open Forum Tab (shared ad for all 3 tabs)

  6. Any Star Post (2 ads)

  1. Change language to Korean

  2. Tap on the Points tab

  4. Select any article

  5. Collect Stars from all the ads (Star icon). You can do this 2x per ad. Total of 40 Stars.

Rainbow Stars

  1. In the Points tab, go to the Rainbow Stars section

  2. Tap on Purchase Points to purchase Rainbow Stars

  3. Tap on Get Free Stars to participate in missions

You can also earn Stars if your post gets more likes and is voted BEST

  • Rainbow Stars are used for birthday ad projects

  • Yellow Stars expire 15 days from acquisition date

  • Rainbow Stars expire 1 year from the date you received it

G+ Points

Increase and earn G+ Points to increase your level for TMA

  • Complete the daily missions and earn up to G+ Points Daily

  • Rank up as early as you can. Ranks reset after every TMA

  • The higher your rank, more voting rights you will have

  • Higher rank also means more spins for the Roulette during the voting event

Photo Talk

1G+ Point

  1. Tap the Vote icon and tap on the Special tab

  2. Tap on Photo Talk

  3. Select any ongoing poll. There's usually 2 at a time.

  4. Look SEVENTEEN or any SEVENTEEN member. If they do not appear, tap on Add Artist + to add them

  5. Tap the (+) icon and attach a photo to receive 1G+ Point
